Civil / Municipal Engineer
Mount Holly, NJ or Wayne, NJ
$70,000–$95,000 per year
Full-time | On-site
Our client is seeking an experienced Civil / Municipal Engineer to support public infrastructure and municipal engineering projects across New Jersey.
This position offers the opportunity to work on projects involving roads, bridges, buildings, utilities, and other community infrastructure while collaborating with experienced engineers, planners, surveyors, inspectors, and project professionals.
Responsibilities- Design and oversee municipal and civil infrastructure projects
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, plans, and specifications
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, clients, and other engineering disciplines
- Support project design, analysis, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure project quality and safety
- Prepare cost estimates and technical documentation
- Provide engineering guidance and support to clients and project teams
- Assist with construction administration and project delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 3–7+ years of related civil or municipal engineering experience
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
- Public works, municipal, or infrastructure project experience preferred
- Experience with Revit, GIS, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Mathcad, or similar software
- Project management experience is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
