Customer Service Rep, Server/Wait Staff
Job Overview
Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and employee availability as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular, or full‑time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is to ensure guests receive exceptional service. Team members may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. They must act as a representative of Regal in a manner consistent with our mission statement and policies, including regular and consistent attendance, handling emergency situations when called upon, performing general cleaning duties, and complying with the company dress code.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Box Office
- Operate POS system, manage cash drawer, and process credit cards, traveler’s checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes, and coupons accurately.
- Upsell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience options (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to phone calls and guest questions in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy.
- Concession
- Operate POS system and manage cash, credit, traveler’s checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons, and concession stock inventory.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Operate, prepare, and clean all concession equipment.
- Upsell/suggestive sell products.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
- Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
- Maintain required alcohol certification and training where applicable.
- Read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Usher
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit stubs, and direct patrons to auditoriums.
- Inspect handbags and packages when applicable.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
- Enforce MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, prevent film and content theft, and maintain a safe environment.
- Report problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
- Clean auditoriums and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, lobby, hallways, and other areas outside the auditorium.
- Monitor cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned.
$15.92 per hour.

Education and ExperienceCompletion of cast certification program as a cast member or box office cashier, or progress toward completion is required.
Alcohol Sales ResponsibilitiesIf alcohol is sold at the theatre and the role includes selling or serving alcohol, the employee must complete required state or local training and obtain the required certificate, and complete the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.
Language AbilityPossess good public speaking skills, listen effectively, and respond clearly and directly.
Math AbilityPerform calculations with speed and accuracy, and identify and correct errors.
Reasoning AbilityIdentify problems, gather relevant data, note possible causes, evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence. Take action beyond what is necessarily called for, and perform under pressure or opposition.

Physical DemandsFrequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
