We are looking for a skilled L2 AML Analyst to join the Adverse Media team. This role involves conducting due diligence on customers identified by L1 analysts as having potential adverse or negative media. The analyst will assess the materiality of the findings and contribute to risk mitigation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review adverse media alerts escalated from L1 analysts.
• Confirm customer identity and assess the relevance and materiality of adverse media findings.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and document findings in accordance with AML policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to escalate cases requiring further investigation.
• Focus on current alerts with no existing backlog.

Required Skills & Experience
• 1+ years of experience in AML investigations or financial crime compliance.
• Strong understanding of adverse media screening and risk assessment.
• Ability to interpret complex media findings and assess reputational risk.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in AML systems and investigative tools.
