  • Lead analysis of rate adequacy, profitability and CAT return metrics.
  • Support portfolio optimisation decisions (limits, attachment points, deductibles, sublimits).
Business Partnership
  • Provide pricing insights and recommendations to underwriting leadership to support deal‑level decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on CAT risk, pricing and portfolio trade‑offs.
  • Collaborate across functions including underwriting, reinsurance pricing, reserving and CAT modeling.
Reinsurance & Planning
  • Support annual reinsurance placement and planning by providing CAT pricing and portfolio analytics.
  • Contribute to capital allocation and risk appetite discussions.
Team Leadership
  • Manage and develop a team of actuaries and analysts focused on CAT pricing.
  • Foster a high‑performance culture with strong technical expertise and business alignment.
  • Mentor talent across actuarial and catastrophe functions.

  • Proven experience integrating CAT modelling into pricing and portfolio decisions.
  • Strong leadership experience managing actuarial or analytics teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics tools (SQL, Python/R preferred).
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with underwriting, exposure management and reinsurance teams.

  • Strategic thinking with ability to translate analytics into business action.
  • Strong communication skills—able to convey complex CAT/pricing concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Expertise in portfolio management, risk‑return optimisation and pricing governance.
  • Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with competing priorities.
