Position Overview
As a Lead Teller within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in the Cape May Court House branch at 1 Court House, South Dennis Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. The role focuses on delivering a unique customer experience, guiding tellers, and driving customer financial wellbeing.
Responsibilities- Coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example in providing exceptional customer service.
- Process a variety of customer interactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan inquiries.
- Educate customers on available financial products and alternatives, and identify banking opportunities during interactions.
- Make appropriate referrals to branch staff and execute lobby engagement activities to connect with customers.
- Communicate clearly, handle transactions accurately, and resolve problems following established procedures.
- Assist the Branch Manager with performance management and new‑hire selection processes.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
- Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
- 1+ year related experience or comparable combination of education, training, certification, and at least high school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of banking operations, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Proficiency in using banking technology and tools.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities.

Base Salary: $44,720.00 – $57,200.00. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
