We're looking for an experienced Tax Director to lead complex Trust & Estate engagements for high-net-worth individuals and families. This role combines advanced technical work, strategic client advising, team leadership, and the opportunity to help grow a thriving practice.
Qualities:
- 10+ years of public accounting experience focused on Trust & Estate taxation.
- Active CPA or EA required (MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation is a plus).
- Deep knowledge of fiduciary, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax.
- Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and estates.
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in-office at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on estate, gift, trust, and wealth transfer planning strategies.
- Review complex fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns while ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with attorneys, wealth advisors, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive planning solutions.
- Mentor and develop team members while overseeing engagement quality and deadlines.
- Build client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and stay ahead of changing tax legislation.
