Salary Range: $24.00 To $28.00 Annually

Hermann Services is looking for a full time Freight
Billing Analyst to join our company located in Houston, Texas. Hermann offers a competitive salary (based on years of experience), medical, dental, and vision coverage, and 401k matching program.

Position

Description:

The Freight Billing Analyst is accountable for creating invoices, issuing them to customers by various electronic means, and updating customer files.

Responsibilities:

• Issue invoices to customers (paper, email, web portal and/ or EDI)
• Work with operations staff to obtain all required delivery documentation
• Confirm entered data from customer requirements documentation
• Organize and categorize billing documents
• Respond to customer and employee inquiries in a timely manner
• Update the customer master file with contact information
• Work with Accounts Receivable Specialist to research any short paid invoices
• Positively promotes Hermann Services to existing and potential employees and customers
• Perform other A/R and administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Other Duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be detail oriented
• Excellent data entry skills including alpha-numeric and 10-key
• A minimum of 2 years experience
• Previous background knowledge of trucking industry a plus
• Knowledge of Sea freight/Drayage invoicing a plus
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Products
• TMW, Mcleod and Great Plains experience preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills
