About the Role
Position Overview:
As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist (Sr. BMAS), you'll be a key relationship-builder and trusted resource for our members. You'll provide exceptional service, help members navigate their financial needs, open and maintain consumer, business, and IRA accounts, and resolve account-related concerns. You'll also support lending activities, perform member service functions, and identify opportunities to connect members with products and services that help them achieve their financial goals.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering a member experience that reflects Visions' commitment to service.
Compensation Range: $24.36/hr.
- $29.58/hr hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills
Location:
Position is on-site at our Saddle Brook Branch, which is located at 250 Pehle Avenue and will provide Saturday coverage to local branches as needed. Float position requires employee to provide coverage to branches within the NJ East and NJ West Regions as needed.
What you'll do in this role:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member account inquiries, escalations, and financial service needs
- Open and maintain consumer, business, and IRA accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist members with consumer loan applications and follow-up activities throughout the lending process
- Build deeper member relationships by recommending products and services aligned with members' financial goals
- Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally while delivering exceptional member experience
- Perform branch operations, including cash handling, transaction processing, and Member Service Representative activities as needed
- Support fraud prevention and regulatory compliance by accurately verifying member identity and transaction authorization
- Perform notary services and collaborate with branch teammates to support overall branch success

What We're Looking For
Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of related experience
- Ability to obtain a Notary Public license within one year of accepting the role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and member service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate degree
