Technical Tax Specialist

The selected person will be responsible for ensuring the correct tax management of a portfolio of real estate assets, with a special focus on reviewing and optimizing local taxation, detecting tax contingencies, and preparing administrative appeals.

Your responsibilities:

  • Review local taxation of real estate portfolios (IBI, municipal fees, capital gains, and IAE).
  • Analyze and interpret current local tax regulations to ensure their correct application.
  • Detect tax risks, settlement errors, and opportunities for tax optimization.
  • Review tax registers and settlements, identifying discrepancies, duplications, or incorrect imputations.
  • Prepare, present, and follow up on administrative appeals, appeals for reinstatement, and economic-administrative claims.
  • Manage high-volume tax files, ensuring their correct traceability and follow-up.
  • Prepare technical and economic reports for decision-making.
  • Analyze information using Excel, SAP, and Kmaleon.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, public administrations, and external collaborators.
  • Propose improvements in tax management processes and fiscal optimization.
  • Required skills:

  • Degree in Law.
  • Supplementary training in Tax Law and/or Taxation.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in local taxation applied to real estate assets, with solid knowledge of tax regulations and experience in reviewing and managing IBI, municipal fees, IAE, and especially Municipal Plus Value (IIVTNU), including the analysis of settlements, detection of issues, and optimization of tax burden.
  • Experience in preparing and following up on administrative appeals and economic-administrative claims.
  • Knowledge of local tax procedures and management of portfolios of real estate assets.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Handling of SAP and Kmaleon
