Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Senior Financial Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to provide high-level financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and business insights. This role will partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, assess risks and opportunities, and support strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial modeling, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement analysis, and management reporting, along with advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
What You Will Do- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Analyse financial statements, business performance, trends, and key financial metrics.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and strategic decisions.
- Perform variance analysis and explain differences between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Evaluate financial risks, opportunities, investments, and business initiatives.
- Support financial analysis and due diligence related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Procurement, and other business functions to gather and analyse financial information.
- Provide financial guidance and analytical support to junior analysts and team members.
- Develop and improve financial policies, procedures, reporting processes, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and financial best practices to support informed decision-making.
- Communicate financial findings and recommendations effectively to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong experience in financial analysis, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining financial models.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, financial performance metrics, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Experience preparing financial reports and presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to identify financial risks and opportunities and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with M&A, due diligence, or strategic financial analysis is a plus.
- Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, BI/reporting tools, or data visualization tools is a plus.
Carneys Point, NJ 08069 (Onsite) Pay Range: $53 – $56/hour
