Is accepting applications for a full-time position of laborer for the Department of Public Works. Duties include but are not limited to buildings and ground maintenance, grass cutting, road maintenance, repair of utilities, snow plowing, and paving. Applicants should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand and carry out verbal instructions. Applicants must be able to safely operate grass cutting equipment, chainsaws, chippers, snow blowers, leaf machines, and similar equipment as directed.

Applicant must also have a valid NJ Driver’s license. A valid CDL, class B with airbrakes preferred or will be required within 6 months of hire. Successful applicants must undergo a background check. Salary range $48,000 w/o CDL or $51,000 with CDL. While applications are ongoing, the Borough reserves the right to interview candidates as applications are received. EOE.
