• Deliver nursing practices based on evidence‑based research, policies, and standards to provide safe and excellent individualized patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, nursing colleagues, and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
• Administer medications using bar‑scanning and documentation technologies to ensure safest delivery.
• Document point‑of‑care electronic assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations of rendered care.
• Provide patient‑ and family‑centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharges to ensure safe transition and continuum of care.

• Current and valid New Jersey nursing license (RN).
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• Telemetry certification preferred.
• Step‑down trauma experience preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within 3 years of hire.
• Strong learning agility, accountability, teamwork focus, commitment to ongoing education, and passion for delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care.

Minimum rate: $42.19 hourly.
