As a Respiratory Therapist, you will evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.

• Must be able to work at any site when needed.
• Demonstrates ability to operate and interpret instruments and procedures related to respiratory care.
• Plans, implements and evaluates plans of care for patients with a variety of problems; begins to understand pediatric rehabilitative rationales.
• Implements appropriate and individualized patient and family education within time frames defined by hospital and departmental policies.
• Understands the importance of interdisciplinary process and functions in a team structure.
• Promotes continuity of respiratory care and interdisciplinary interventions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of ISTAT blood analysis system and follows all related policies and procedures.
• Recognizes patient and family health care needs in a respectful environment.
• Requests guidance from RCP II, RCP III, Clinical Director and other resources when appropriate.
• Assesses clinical performance and learning needs through self-evaluation.
• Maintains professional behavior and accountability for actions regarding professional issues.
• Serves as a role model to Respiratory students and new employees.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education approved program of Respiratory Care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• NJ State Respiratory License.
• AHA BLS Provider Certification.
• Scheduling Requirements:
  Full Time - 36 hours/week;
  Day Shift.
