Job Overview
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full‑time Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a staff position in Minotola, New Jersey, covering the Cumberland County area. The role involves making home visits to clients, providing rehabilitative speech, language, and swallowing services, and working as part of a multidisciplinary health‑care team. Prior home‑care experience is a plus, but not required.
Base Pay & Sign‑On BonusBase pay ranges from $63.00 to $66.00 per point, with a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time SLPs.
Responsibilities- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Develop a treatment plan based on the evaluation, physicians’ orders, and recommended goals.
- Continuously assess and revise the speech‑therapy care plan and participate in multidisciplinary care planning as appropriate.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided, using a state‑of‑the‑art touch‑pad tablet.
- Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in New Jersey.
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA), or equivalent educational requirements and work experience for such certification.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
