Orthodontic Assistant - PART TIME

Boutique, patient-centered orthodontic practice searching for an awesome orthodontic assistant! Prior orthodontic assisting experience required. This is a part time position (averages out to approximately 20-22 hours per week):
Monday 9-5, Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-5, First Saturday of the month (except No Saturdays June, July, August) 9-12:30.

• Provide comfortable and caring environment for patients
• Greet and seat patients
• Take quality orthodontic records (including iTero scan)
• Assist doctor with patient care as directed
• Review home care instructions with patients, and assemble patient home care kits
• Maintain lab work list/ submission of cases
• Fill Invisalign attachment templates neatly and effectively
• Clean, sterilize, pack, restock instruments according to OSHA standards
• Maintain clean and organized clinic, lab, and tooth brushing station
• Clean and set up patient chairs, keep schedule flowing efficiently
• Maintain inventory
• Assist front desk when needed (answer phone, make appointments, etc)
• Remove waste at end of day and clean clinical and lab areas
• Make sure all instruments cleaned and put away, lab cases and supplies ready for next patient day before leaving

• Valid NJ Radiology License
• Valid CDA or RDA certification
• CPR certification
• Friendly and patient demeanor, always kind to all patients
• Punctual, detail oriented
• Must be able to take quality patient records (excellent photos and iTero scan)
