What You Will Do
  • Serve as the primary behavioral rehabilitation specialist for assigned patients, collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary clinical team.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior modification goals and treatment protocols aligned with the master treatment plan.
  • Identify, define, track, and graph target behaviors and skill deficits to measure progress and treatment effectiveness.
  • Provide direct clinical care, including leading and co-leading therapeutic groups, social-emotional skills training, and daily program activities.
  • Coordinate treatment room operations and support daily scheduling to ensure consistent implementation of program systems and protocols.
  • Conduct patient assessments, orientations, and phone intake screenings, incorporating family and systems considerations into treatment planning.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation, including treatment protocols, progress notes, data summaries, and discharge reports.
  • Ensure a safe, structured therapeutic environment through close supervision, use of non-violent crisis intervention strategies, and oversight during restrictive procedures when necessary.
  • Mentor and support Behavioral Specialists I & II and Behavior Assistants through modeling, training, feedback, and coverage as needed.
  • Participate actively in clinical rounds, supervision, staff training, and program development to promote quality care, staff growth, and operational efficiency.
Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, education, school psychology or a similar field of study - Required
  • Master's Degree - Preferred
Experience Qualifications
  • At least four (4) years experience with direct care of children and adolescents with social, emotional and behavioral needs - Required
Skills And Abilities
  • Knowledge of typical and atypical youth development and related areas.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent psychopathology
  • Knowledge of therapy and psychological assessment with youth and families
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis and behavioral methodology and principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing in English.
  • Computer skills including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
  • Ability to direct and motivate staff teams.
  • Critical analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other health care team providers.

Salary

$56,890.00 - $71,110.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you re working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
