Position Summary
Under direct supervision of licensed nursing staff (RN/LPN), the CNA provides compassionate, hands‑on support with daily living activities, basic nursing care, and diligent patient observation to promote resident safety, comfort, and wellbeing in a skilled nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities 1.Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Support
Assist residents with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, oral care, shaving, nail care.
Help with dressing, toileting, and incontinence care; offer ostomy support per facility policy.
Provide mobility assistance: turning, repositioning, transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair), ambulation with devices.
Assist in feeding and monitor nutritional/fluid intake, ensuring adherence to dietary orders.
