General Description
The Medical Assistant manages medication refills, complete vital signs, and provide coverage in TMS program. Support medication prescribers with day-to-day operations.
Tasks & Responsibilities- Essential Duties
- Manage medication refill line
- Triage medication issues
- Support with prior authorizations
- Genomind ordering
- Obtain vital signs
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Coordination of care with medication prescribers and other team members
- Ensure all client information is handled as sensitive and confidential
- Maintain and order needed supplies
- Create a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion
- Additional Duties
- Assists and covers other staff when necessary to maintain high productivity and efficiency in the department.
- As the company continues to grow, additional responsibilities that are essential for the department to be successful will be assigned accordingly.

- Must have strong computer skills to meet Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record software requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years as a medical assistant working in a healthcare setting
- Certificate as a CCMA or RMA
- Current CPR Certification, highly desirable
- Narcan Certified, highly desirable
Monday-Friday:
Mon, Wed, Thur 10:30-8:00pm, Tu 8:30am-5:00pm, and F 8:30am-2:00pm
