General Description

The Medical Assistant manages medication refills, complete vital signs, and provide coverage in TMS program. Support medication prescribers with day-to-day operations.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Essential Duties
  • Manage medication refill line
  • Triage medication issues
  • Support with prior authorizations
  • Genomind ordering
  • Obtain vital signs
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Coordination of care with medication prescribers and other team members
  • Ensure all client information is handled as sensitive and confidential
  • Maintain and order needed supplies
  • Create a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion
  • Additional Duties
  • Assists and covers other staff when necessary to maintain high productivity and efficiency in the department.
  • As the company continues to grow, additional responsibilities that are essential for the department to be successful will be assigned accordingly.

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • At least 2 years as a medical assistant working in a healthcare setting
Required license or certifications
  • Certificate as a CCMA or RMA
  • Current CPR Certification, highly desirable
  • Narcan Certified, highly desirable

Monday-Friday:
Mon, Wed, Thur 10:30-8:00pm, Tu 8:30am-5:00pm, and F 8:30am-2:00pm
