Position: EMT: Thursday-Sunday (12 hour shifts)
Location: East Hanover

Job Overview:
Life Ride is seeking dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team in answering 911 emergency calls within Essex County, NJ. As an EMT with Life Ride, you will provide emergency medical care, transport patients, and ensure their safety and well-being during transport to medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency medical calls and provide medical care at the scene.

Stabilize patients and provide pre-hospital care based on established protocols.

Transport patients to medical facilities in a safe and timely manner.

Monitor and report patient vitals and conditions to medical staff.

Assist in patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and trauma evaluations.

Ensure ambulances are properly stocked with medical equipment and supplies.

Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and Life Ride's policies and protocols.

Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and medical personnel.

Schedule & Shift Details:

Full-time, alternating tour schedule (every other week).AM and PM shift openings are available.
10am-10pm | 9am-9pm | 8am-8pmFlexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

Must possess a valid EMT Card.

Must have a valid Driver’s License.

CPR Certification (Current).Completion of ICS 100, ICS 200, IS 700, and IS 800.Completion of Defensive Driving, CEVO (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course), or EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course).Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
