We serve clients across Bergen County and are growing our overnight care team to meet increasing demand. If you're reliable, caring, and hold an active NJ CHHA certification, we want to hear from you.

As a CHHA with Home Helpers, your overnight duties will include — but are not limited to:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene support
• Transfers and mobility assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Medication reminders
• Vital signs monitoring (as directed)
• Companionship and emotional support
• Overnight supervision and safety monitoring
• Light housekeeping during downtime
• Meal prep and feeding assistance if needed
• Accurate documentation and shift notes
• Communication with care coordinators and families

• Active, valid New Jersey CHHA certification — required
• Valid NJ driver's license and reliable transportation
• Availability for overnight shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Genuine compassion for elderly and vulnerable populations
• Ability to safely perform physical care tasks including transfers and lifting

• Competitive Pay: $19/hr with overtime at 1.5× for hours over 40/week
