Job OverviewThe CT Technologist performs proper radiographic procedures as required by physician orders. Provides patient service using diagnostic CT scan equipment. Technologist is competent in the production of quality radiographs for proper treatment and diagnosis by physician.
Qualifications Required:- Graduate of approved school of Radiologic Technology
- NJ license
- ARRT Certification
- BLS through American Heart Association
- ARRT-CT certification
- Day Shift
- Per Diem (schedule varies based on the needs of the department)
- Assist in minor surgical procedures
- Competent in the operation of all CT equipment and software (IDX, TDS, Fusion, and ARS Telerad)
- Ongoing daily calibration and preventive maintenance as assigned by the Lead
- Perform radiographic procedures as required by physician
- Reconstruct images into 3D format
- Maintain stock levels and cleanliness of area
- Perform all other duties as assigned
