Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse;
Assist with a variety of patient, unit and environment-related tasks and patient safety initiatives;
Obtain clinical data and document findings in patient records, notify RN of abnormalities;
Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy for laboratory tests and ensure proper labeling; Perform EKGs and assist with specimen collection and processing as directed
