About This Case

Home To Stay is seeking compassionate and experienced Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide dedicated care for hospice clients located in Mullica Hill, NJ.

This role is ideal for caregivers who have a passion for providing comfort-focused care and supporting individuals and families during an important stage of life. We are looking for dependable CHHAs who are comfortable providing hands-on personal care, assisting with mobility needs, and creating a safe, respectful, and peaceful environment for clients.

Hospice experience is strongly preferred, as this position requires a caregiver who understands the importance of patience, compassion, dignity, and attention to changes in a client s needs

What These Clients Need
  • Compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

  • Mobility assistance, repositioning, and transfer support

  • Experience assisting with Hoyer lifts and safe transfer techniques preferred

  • Medication reminders (non-medical only, per agency policy)

  • Companionship and emotional support for clients and their families

  • Ability to provide attentive care while recognizing and reporting changes in a client s condition

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate care while maintaining each client s dignity, comfort, and independence

  • Assist with personal care needs and mobility support according to the client s care plan

  • Safely assist with transfers, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when required

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients and their families

  • Work collaboratively with the hospice team and follow facility guidelines

  • Monitor and communicate changes in the client s condition to the appropriate supervisor

  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time

  • Follow all Home To Stay policies, infection control procedures, and safety guidelines

Requirements
  • Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license

  • Hospice or end-of-life care experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with higher-acuity clients and comfort-focused care preferred

  • Hoyer lift experience

  • Minimum of one year of caregiving experience/ hospice care

  • Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional demeanor

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect

  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility
