Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)- Full- Time

Bright Star Care is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a full-time in-home care position.

We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced CHHA to provide quality care to a client in their home.

• Reliable transportation is required. The client's home is located off the bus route, so the ability to drive to the client's home is necessary.

• Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• At least 1 year of HHA/CHHA experience required
• Current CPR certification required
• Most recent TB test or chest X-ray
• Current physical examination
• Reliable transportation
• Must be dependable, compassionate, professional, and responsible
• Must be comfortable providing care independently in a client's home

The CHHA will provide non-medical, in-home care and assistance with activities of daily living, including:

• Assisting with bathing, showering, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Assisting with dressing and toileting
• Assisting with transfers, mobility, and ambulation
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Laundry and changing bed linens
• Medication reminders as permitted by the care plan
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Accompanying the client to appointments or errands when needed
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Following the client's care plan and all care instructions
