One Step Forward is looking for an Autism Support Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you'll provide one on one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in Cedar Knolls, East Hanover, and surrounding Morris County communities.

This is a part time, after school position with consistent weekday afternoon and evening hours. You'll receive ongoing guidance from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing your skills in the field of ABA.

Whether you're already working in ABA or have experience with children in education, childcare, behavioral health, or human services, we'd love to hear from you.

• Provide one on one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills
• Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs
• Collect data during therapy sessions using electronic systems
• Communicate with your supervising BCBA regarding client progress
• Help children develop independence and reach meaningful goals

• Competitive pay of $22–$32 per hour, based on experience

• Experience working with children
• Experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, RBT, paraprofessional, teacher's aide, childcare provider, camp counselor, or in behavioral health
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, caring, and motivated to learn

Most cases are located in Cedar Knolls, East Hanover, Florham Park, Morris Plains, Parsippany, Whippany, and nearby Morris County communities. We strive to match staff with families close to where they live whenever possible.
