The role involves collaborating with other therapists, providing caregiver education, and maintaining detailed documentation. Ideal candidates must hold an NJ Speech-Language Pathology License and a Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Availability: 3:00 PM–7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication skills in children.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and goals.
• Provide training and education to families, caregivers, and other professionals.
• Collaborate with occupational, physical, and behavioral therapists to ensure coordinated care.
• Engage in research to enhance understanding of communication processes and develop new assessment and treatment methods.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and other relevant records.
• Actively manage and monitor your schedule, confirm appointments, and coordinate with families for alternative times if necessary.

Qualifications:

• NJ Speech-Language Pathology License (Required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) (Required)
• Experience with young children (ages 0-5 years) is preferred

• Language Development:
  Strong understanding of language development milestones and strategies to support language growth.
• Articulation and Phonology:
  Expertise in assessing and treating articulation and phonological disorders.
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC):
  Knowledgeable in AAC systems and strategies for effective communication.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
  Effective collaboration with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
