Behavior Technician ABA

One Step Forward is hiring an experienced Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist to provide one on one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in Montvale and surrounding Bergen County communities.

This is a part time, after school position with consistent weekday afternoon and evening cases. You'll work directly with children with autism while receiving ongoing supervision and support from experienced BCBAs.

• Provide one on one in home ABA therapy

• Implement individualized treatment programs developed by a BCBA

• Work on communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills

• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs

• Use evidence based ABA strategies including reinforcement, prompting, and behavior intervention techniques

• Collect accurate session data and complete electronic session documentation

• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA regarding client progress and treatment goals

• $22–$32 per hour based on experience

• Consistent after school cases

• Weekday afternoon and evening schedules

This position is primarily for weekday after school hours, with sessions taking place during the afternoon and early evening.

We are looking for therapists who can maintain consistent weekly availability so we can match you with an ongoing case that works with your schedule.

• Previous ABA experience

• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities

• Experience as an ABA Therapist, Behavior Technician, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Familiarity with implementing behavior plans, skill acquisition programs, and collecting session data

• Reliable transportation for in home sessions

• Strong communication skills

• Dependable, professional, and consistent with scheduled sessions
