We have Full-time Resident doctor vacancies in various specialties in H ospital A uthority (H A ) hospitals and institutions.

Pay

HK $6 8 , 009 to HK $1 39 , 079 per month (including Monthly Allowance) [HGPS Pt 30-44B] (See Remarks
2) .

Job

To provide clinical and patient care related services.

Requirements

A qualification registrable in Hong Kong under the Medical Registration Ordinance.

A t least 1 year post-internship working experience in hospital.

Proficiency in Cantonese (except for Anaesthesiology, Pathology and Radiology).

Remarks

For Serving HA Staff

Serving Resident and Medical & Health Officer, if selected for appointment, will remain on their existing pay scale, remuneration package and employment terms. Where applicable, the selected candidate will be offered contract appointment for up to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract.

The offer of salary and allowance (Cash allowance, Fixed-flexi allowance or Monthly allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be made in accordance with prevailing policies.

For External Applicants

The selected candidates will be offered contract employment for a specific period of normally from 1 to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract

Salary to be offered will commensurate with relevant experience and qualification, if any, of the selected candidate.

Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with the prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.

For All Applicants

Selected candidate will be subject to central posting and deployment by Hospital Authority Head Office according to service needs. Appointment to the selected candidates will take into account services needed of the HA and care plan / preference of the candidates (if any).

May be required to work shifts and irregular hours as well as to perform on-call duties.
