Role Overview :

As an Experienced Caregiver at Assisting Hands Central New Jersey, you will be responsible for providing compassionate in-home care to clients in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team to ensure that clients maintain their dignity and independence in a familiar environment. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that aligns with your life commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and assistance to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Assist clients with daily activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.

Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the care team.

Build trusting relationships with clients, maintaining their dignity and respecting their preferences.

Collaborate with healthcare providers as needed to ensure optimal care for clients. Take ownership of personalized care plans to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.

Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Ability to work as part of a team and develop positive relationships with clients.

Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others.

Have a New Jersey certification HHA (Home Health Aide)

Bonus If You:

Have experience working with elderly or disabled clients.

Possess CPR and First Aid certification.

Employment Type

& Availability:

This is a Part-Time position daytime hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Set hours 7:30am-12:30pm on Thursday and Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site only in North Brunswick Township, New Jersey.
