Location: Mount Laurel

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents in our Memory Care neighborhood. You will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility, while promoting dignity and independence. You'll help manage mealtime support, observe and report changes in condition, follow personalized care plans, and use dementia-informed approaches to reduce anxiety and challenging behaviors.

Working in a collaborative, resident-first team, you'll help create engaging, structured activities that support cognitive function and emotional well-being in a warm, home-like environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility) for memory care residents
  • Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices while following fall-prevention protocols
  • Assist with mealtime set-up, feeding, hydration, and adherence to special diets
  • Observe and promptly report physical, cognitive, or behavioral changes to nursing and leadership teams
  • Follow individualized care plans and documentation standards in accordance with community policies
  • Use dementia-informed, person-centered communication to reduce anxiety and support positive behaviors
  • Engage residents in structured, therapeutic activities that promote cognitive and social engagement
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment in resident rooms and shared spaces
  • Collaborate with nurses, other caregivers, and families to ensure resident-first, holistic care
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality regulations at all times
