Are you looking to join a fast-paced environment and provide clerical support to the clinical staff? This is a great opportunity to join our Emergency Department team as a Unit Secretary.
This role works three shifts per week 7:00 pm - 3:00 am
Previous Unit Secretary experience is preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
Organizes and maintains unit files, patient's charts, and performs routine office/ unit tasks.
Is responsible assisting in processing the proper completion of admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork and processes.
Answers telephone calls professionally, pleasantly, and relays messages efficiently.
Maintains, organizes, and assures the availability of nursing, patient, and unit supplies. Replenishes supplies in a timely manner.
Maintains/ organizes patient medical record, restocks with paper, labeling, etc.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent
Experience:
- H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
- Clerical experience in a medical/ psychiatric setting preferred.

Salary Range:
$16.55 - $21.70/Hourly
