• Providing comprehensive clinical assessments, crisis interventions, and evaluations for hospitalization for children, adolescents, and their families residing in Monmouth County.
• Coordinating critical crisis services and safe patient dispositions within the framework of the Children's Crisis Intervention Services (CCIS) system.
• Prioritizing preventive outreach to the community as a strategic effort to divert minors from emergency room visits.
• Delivering direct education to the community through engaging in-person and virtual presentations.
• Representing the department and program effectively at designated county meetings.
• Formulating safe, collaborative care plans by consulting with family members, medical personnel, and community resources.
• Completing thorough, accurate clinical and state legal documentation in a timely manner.

• You are deeply passionate about providing a safe, therapeutic, and empathetic healthcare experience for youth and families in acute psychiatric distress.
• You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and can make critical, legally grounded care decisions under pressure.
• You set a high bar for yourself and your team to maintain strong communication and coordinate seamless handoffs during critical situations.
• You excel at public speaking and enjoy educating the community to raise awareness about youth crisis services.
• You believe that true healing begins with meeting young patients where they are during their most vulnerable moments.

• Master's degree (MA/MS) in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required.
• Two (2) years of prior experience and/or training working with children, adolescents, and families in a mental health setting required.
• Demonstrated experience and/or training in crisis intervention and psychiatric assessment.
• Proven experience with public speaking and community presentations.
• Eligible to obtain a Screening Certification Number upon hire.
• Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Driver's License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within three (3) months of hire.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Evening Shift (40 hours per week).
• Flexible shift hours working 4 days per week.
• Weekend commitment required (1 weekend day every other weekend).
• Mandatory rotation of one (1) winter holiday and one (1) summer holiday per year.
