- Pharmacy Technician II 24-hour cassette technician

The Pharmacy Technician II will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• 1. Print/Sort Labels for filling prescriptions
• 2. Assist with processing of pharmacy orders, including assembling of required items, packaging, labeling and completing necessary paperwork.
• 3. Process and Update Emergency Kits
• 4. Maintain cleanliness in pharmacy area
• 5. Package/Seal Blister Packs & complete associated packaging logs
• 6. Operate Packaging machines
• 7. Prepare orders for Bagging/delivery
• 8. Assist with Inventory
• 9. Check shelves for expired/damaged meds
• 10. Assist with return drug procedures
• 11. Stock medications
• 12. Monitor and perform back order procedures
• 13. Assist with training of new employees

High School Diploma or equivalent

• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
• PTCB license, a plus
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
