Medical Records Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of patient information, supporting seamless communication between departments, and maintaining compliance with privacy regulations. Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate multiple phone inquiries related to patient records and medical information
- Scan and upload medical documents, releases, and records into electronic health record systems
- Process and track medical releases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Monitor and update patient results and medical records to maintain data integrity
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information in accordance with privacy laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in medical records management or healthcare administration
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and scanning technology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information
- Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
