We are currently recruiting for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to reliably serve patients in the following counties:
Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem in BAYADA’s ACSP Division.
Training will be available as part of the onboarding process.
What you’ll do:- Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
- Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Perform household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, meal preparation and feeding.
- Assist with range of motion exercises, ambulation, transfers using mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide medication reminders and check vital signs: temperature, pulse, respiration.
- Minimum one year work experience.
- Current HHA license in good standing with the board.
- Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed, but not required.
- Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
- Commitment to being present and providing quality care.
- Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
