M-F, 8am-430pm , Day shift

Hiring Range: $72,928.87 - $91,161.09 Annually

Position Summary

Provides supervision, support, and direct care to Behavioral Health clients with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness.

Primary Position Responsibilities

1.Assists with the Administration of Day Hospital.
2.Supervises staff in coordination with the Director and Coordinator of the Day Hospital.
3.Maintains and monitors JCAHO standards and DMHAS specialty regulations, Medicaid Regulations, and HBH policy & procedure.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field

Preferred:

Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

5 Years of Experience working with people with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness

Preferred:

2 years Supervisory Experience

License, Registry or Certification:

Required:

Valid driver's license

Preferred:

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

De-escalation Techniques, Group Therapy expertise, Ability to work with people with severe and Persistent mental illness.

Clinician demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based practices in the provision of care included but not limited to:
Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Universal Screening for SUD.
