* Job Description:

** - Provide clinical and therapeutic services to adolescents and their families.

- Complete Joint Care Reviews and Strength and Needs assessments in compliance with standards.

- Demonstrate proficiency in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment with youth, using:

- Integrated assessment approaches for highly individualized and holistic treatment plans.

- Trauma-informed evidence-based practices to help youth change substance use behaviors.

- Psycho-educational groups promoting age-appropriate pro-social learning, problem solving, and life skills development.

- Conduct relevant social assessments.

- Offer individual, group, and family therapy to residents.

- Act as a liaison to school therapists for coordinated clinical care.

- Collaborate with Residential Counselors to develop tailored treatment goals and strategies.

- Write treatment plans alongside the Clinical Supervisor, ensuring compliance with licensing standards.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date written records of all client interactions.

- Work closely with the residential psychiatrist for medication management, obtaining informed consent, and completing required documentation.

- Arrange family contact and furloughs, documenting weekly in communication logs.

- Attend staff meetings to discuss resident treatment and educate team members on effective service delivery.

- Participate in weekly clinical supervision.

- Write discharge summaries, letters, contracts, and all required clinical documentation.

- Develop comprehensive aftercare recommendations for clients.

- Collaborate professionally with all staff and programs within the organization.

- Maintain contact with external stakeholders including schools, Child Study Teams, and other agencies to facilitate Managed Care Certification as needed.

- Participate in emergency situations as co-therapist when required.

- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of clinical policies and procedures.

- Mentor and supervise social work and counseling interns, providing performance evaluations when applicable.

- Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement programs.

- Provide clinical training and support to Direct Care Team Members as directed.

- Develop family training and group sessions under the guidance of the Clinical Manager.

- Present at local and national professional meetings and prepare materials for publication when applicable.

- Model exemplary standards of behavior and adhere to organizational ethics and codes of conduct.
