Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Waves of Change Counseling & Healing is a therapist-owned outpatient mental health practice serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout New Jersey. As we expand into our new in-person counseling space in Franklinville, we're looking for clinicians who want the flexibility of private practice with the support and connection of a group practice.

We're especially interested in clinicians with experience working with
children and adolescents
, as well as clinicians trained in
EMDR who are interested in providing EMDR in person

• Flexible hybrid scheduling
• Billing, credentialing, referral, and administrative support
• Clinical supervision for eligible LACs and LSWs
• Collaborative clinical consultation and support
• Opportunities to grow into Part-Time and Full-Time roles
• Additional PTO for eligible Part-Time and Full-Time clinicians

• $25/hour for approved non-session clinical work
• New, thoughtfully designed in-person counseling space

Flexible Clinician

Approximately 10 completed sessions per week over time. Designed for clinicians who want a smaller, consistent caseload with recurring availability. At least one after-school, evening, weekend, or other peak-demand block is expected.

Part-Time Clinician

15-24 completed sessions per week with a hybrid telehealth/in-person schedule. Locally based clinicians should be available for approximately two recurring in-person evening blocks per week.

Full-Time Clinician

Approximately 25-30 completed sessions per week with a hybrid schedule and consistent in-person/peak-demand availability.

LAC / LSW

• Flexible:
  Starting at $50 per completed session
• Part-Time & Full-Time: $55 per completed session

LPC / LCSW

• $65 per completed session

Approved Non-Session Clinical Work

• $25/hour

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy within your scope of practice and training
• Complete assessments and individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Build and maintain a caseload consistent with your selected employment tier
• Coordinate care with other providers and supports when clinically appropriate
• Participate in supervision and/or clinical consultation
• Provide telehealth and/or in-person services according to your agreed-upon schedule
• Collaborate with the Waves clinical and administrative team

• Active or eligible New Jersey
  LAC, LSW, LPC, or LCSW
• Master's degree in an appropriate mental health discipline
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage an outpatient caseload with professional autonomy
• Interest in being part of a collaborative and growing practice

We're especially interested in clinicians with:

• Experience treating children and/or adolescents
• EMDR training and experience
• Trauma-focused or other specialized clinical training
• Availability for in-person after-school/evening appointments
• An interest in developing or expanding a clinical specialty
