As an Activity Aide, you will help create meaningful experiences for our residents while gaining valuable healthcare experience. This position also provides the opportunity to complete a FREE CNA training program through Monmouth Vocational School, helping you take the next step toward a rewarding career in healthcare.

Activity Aide Responsibilities
- Implement scheduled activity programs and assist residents as needed
- Monitor resident behavior during activities and events and communicate concerns to the nursing team as needed
- Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars
- Assist with preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility
- Use computer systems to assist with activity-related responsibilities
- Support a positive, engaging, and welcoming environment for residents
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Activities and Administrator
Activity Aide Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous long-term care experience preferred, but not required
- Computer knowledge
- Compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with seniors
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to complete the CNA training program through Monmouth Vocational School
