We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in the Cape May County area to join our team!
This opportunity is perfect for compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic individuals who are eager to support individuals in their journey toward independence.
Schedule:5 days M-F 4p-8p
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist with daily activities and personal goals, promoting independence and community engagement.
- Support participation in small outings and community-based activities.
- Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work legally in the United States.
- Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.
- Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
- This role requires lifting - due to individual being wheelchair bound requiring full assistance in home care.
- Competitive pay rate $26 hourly
- Health Insurance Available with Company Contribution (When working 30+ hours per week)
