Position OverviewRider University invites applications for the position of Human Resources Associate. Reporting directly to the Manager of Employment Administration, this individual will provide a broad array of confidential support for all functions of Human Resources, including benefits administration and talent management. The Human Resources Associate will provide back up support for managing the front office and facilitating the smooth operation of the Human Resources office.
RequiredKnowledge, Skills And Experience
- Minimum of 3 years office experience, preferably in Human Resources; a degree in a relevant field may substitute, in part, for the work experience requirement.
- Interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent administrative, project management, interpersonal and public relations skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate all aspects of a highly volume office with competing priorities.
- Ability to be a contributing member of a highly functioning team.
- Effective communication with Human Resources staff is essential.
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization and candidates for all levels of open positions.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and perform under pressure.
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to a wide variety of inquiries and requests, both internal and external.
- Active listening and accurate knowledge of University policies and procedures are essential.
- Excellent skill level with Microsoft Office Suite and Google products.
