Your role
The Talent Management Manager – North America ensures the effective deployment, execution, and continuous improvement of Symrise Talent Management and Learning practices across the North America region.
The role exists to translate global Talent Management frameworks into meaningful regional actions that strengthen workforce capabilities, improve talent readiness, and support business growth.
It ensures that Performance, Succession, Development, and Learning processes are consistently applied across all segments and functions, while adapting to the North American business context.
By partnering with HR Business Partners, regional leaders, and global TM team, the role contributes to building a strong leadership pipeline, enhancing employee experience, and enabling the successful execution of Symrise’s strategy in the region.
ScopeRegional scope covering US & Canada, across all segments and functions. Responsible for translating global Talent Management into effective regional execution.
AccountabilityEnd-to-end ownership of TM processes in North America; capability development; regional learning portfolio; talent data quality; adoption of TM tools; alignment with global frameworks.
Operating ModelMatrix role collaborating with NA HR leadership, HRBPs, Global TM, and business stakeholders; strong influence across teams without direct authority.
Business ImpactDevelops workforce capabilities, strengthens talent readiness and leadership pipeline, improves learning ROI, enhances performance and employee experience, and supports NA business strategy.
Talent Management (Regional)- Deploy global TM tools and cycles across North America
- Ensure consistent TM practices with HRBPs and local HR
- Adapt and share regional toolkits and communications
- Run NA talent review and succession planning calendar
- Consolidate regional talent data for leadership
- Support calibration of key talent and critical roles
- Drive regional goal‑setting and year‑end cycles
- Train HRBPs/managers on goals, conversations, evaluations
- Provide tools and guidance to reinforce performance culture
- Identify regional capability gaps and priorities
- Deploy learning aligned to global frameworks
- Act as NA liaison to Symrise University
- Ensure alignment with global governance and tools
- Facilitate workshops and development programs
- Drive adoption of Workday Talent & Learning
- Maintain data accuracy and quality reviews
- Produce dashboards and insights for TM cycles
- Embed DE&I across TM and Learning
- Support initiatives that strengthen leadership and culture
- Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or related field
- 8-10 years in HR with strong focus on TM & L&D
- Experience in multinational matrix environment
- Strong TM cycle execution experience
- Facilitation experience
- Workday knowledge preferred
- Talent Management expertise : performance, succession, talent review, development planning
- HR system:
Workday Talent & Learning (or equivalent) – data quality, reporting, dashboards - Training design & facilitation : creation of training materials, managers & HR training delivery
Pay Transparency Disclosure:
The expected annual salary range for this position is USD $ – USD $. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
