About the Job

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Manager, Talent Acquisition role is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership opportunity that will shape the future workforce of TFI USA. This is your chance to make a lasting impact by leading strategic recruiting initiatives, building exceptional talent pipelines, and partnering with leaders across the organization to attract and hire top talent. As a trusted advisor, you'll help drive workforce planning, influence hiring decisions, and develop innovative sourcing strategies that support business growth while enhancing TFI USA's reputation as an employer of choice.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment and talent acquisition strategies that attract, engage, and retain high-quality candidates while supporting the organization's workforce objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to assess current and future staffing needs, develop workforce plans, and create proactive recruiting strategies to support organizational growth.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all approved openings, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, selection, and offer coordination.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines through strategic sourcing initiatives, including outreach to colleges, professional organizations, community resources, employee referrals, job boards, social media platforms, and other recruitment channels.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing tools and recruitment technologies, including resume databases and applicant tracking systems, to identify and engage qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
  • Lead proactive recruiting efforts to support the organization's transition from a temporary workforce model to a permanent employee workforce, including the development and maintenance of a talent database of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct candidate screenings, phone interviews, and preliminary assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and organizational fit before presenting candidates to hiring managers.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, including scheduling interviews, arranging travel and accommodations when necessary, organizing facility tours, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the selection process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to negotiate and extend employment offers, ensuring a seamless transition from candidate selection through the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources team members to ensure timely preparation of offer documentation, pre-employment requirements, and new hire onboarding activities.
