Position

Summary

Octapharma USA is searching for a Talent Development Specialist to join our team. The Talent Development Specialist plans, organizes, and manages training and learning programs within an organization. Their responsibilities include assessing training needs, developing curriculum, coordinating training sessions, and evaluating program effectiveness. They also maintain records and ensure compliance with all regulations. This role will need to partner with a variety of stakeholders from across the business and help implement solutions as our company evolves both at HQ and in the field.

The Talent Development Specialist will need to effectively utilize various instructional approaches including eLearning (via our digital Learning Management System), instructor-led training, and virtual instructor-led training to deliver Octapharma curricula. This role will help deliver meaningful onboarding and continuing education experiences that will improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the company in a positive manner. This position will report to the Director of Learning and Development.

Requirements
  • This position is required to be onsite in Paramus, NJ 5 days a week
  • 3-5 years in learning, talent development, or sales enablement
  • Experience with digital learning tools such as LMS and instructional design tools
  • Competence with MS Office and Outlook
  • Previous experience in life sciences preferred but not required
  • Experience facilitating training including leading workshops, webinars, and in-person sessions to coach employees on varying topics
  • Experience regularly assessing the effectiveness of development programs and making data-driven improvements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, Communication, or Education preferred
  • MA preferred
  • Certified professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or Training Management (CPTM) preferred but not required

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 to $120,000; however, unexpected, and necessary adjustments or increases may result from Company annual salary increases, if applicable, and or fluctuations in the job market necessitating adjustments to pay ranges.
