Location: Rochelle Park
Select Specialty Hospital - Northeast New Jersey is hiring an on-site Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) in Rochelle Park, NJ
. This role serves as the hospital’s primary HR presence while partnering with centralized HR Shared Services. You’ll coordinate day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, with responsibilities spanning payroll support, talent acquisition coordination, employee relations, compliance, and acting as the local subject matter expert for benefits and HR processes.

- Own and coordinate day-to-day HR operations at the hospital level, ensuring high-quality execution across the employee lifecycle.
- Partner closely with HR Shared Services to deliver seamless support in payroll

. - Serve as a trusted advisor and service-oriented resource for employees and leaders.
- Coordinate and support accurate payroll processing
, timekeeping
, and data integrity
. - Support and drive talent acquisition needs, including hiring coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning support.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws
, licensing requirements
, and regulatory standards
. - Act as the local subject matter expert for benefits
, policies
, and HR processes
. - Handle employee relations needs with professionalism, discretion, and consistency.
- Play an active role in building and sustaining a positive, high-performing workplace culture
. - Contribute insights to help shape HR strategy and operational effectiveness at the hospital level.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field required. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of the degree with approval of Corporate HR.
- 2 years Human Resources experience required.
- Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility with exposure to Joint Commission and CMS preferred.
- Familiarity with benefit administration
, basic HR and Employee Relations functions,
payroll administration
, and state and federal employment laws
.
Location: Rochelle Park, NJ (onsite)
Salary: USD 61,000 - 95,000 per year
