Senior Architect – Corporate Systems

Position OverviewAs a Senior Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of architectural solutions for specific projects. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, develop detailed architectural designs, and ensure the integration of systems and technologies. Additionally, you will mentor junior architects, assist in their professional growth, and participate in the continuous improvement of architectural practices.
A Day In The Life- Lead the design and implementation of architectural solutions for specific projects.
- Define technical architecture that aligns with business goals and enterprise standards.
- Oversee technical delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to the architecture.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable, and translate business requirements into technical designs and specifications.
- Identify dependencies, constraints, and integration points.
- Maintain open communication to refine and validate requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create high‑level and low‑level architectural diagrams and documentation.
- Define system components, data flow, APIs, and service interactions.
- Review and validate design artifacts with developers, testers, and security teams.
- Provide guidance on architectural methods, tools, and standards.
- Support skill development through coaching, training, and shadowing.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to the evolution of architectural standards and governance.
- Identify and propose improvements to design methodologies and processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- TOGAF Certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in architecture.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in system integration and technology alignment.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience leading development of solution architectures in corporate systems with concentration in Finance, Workforce Management, Human Capital Management, Marketing, or Legal & Real Estate business functions.
- Experience with system integration products (e.g., Informatica), particularly with corporate applications and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP, Workday).
- Preferred experience in architecting with various platforms and tools such as Snowflake, Azure, Java, Archimate, Oracle PL/SQL, Databricks, and Google Cloud Platform.
