Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
The Associate Director, New Business Innovations is responsible for leading strategic digital initiatives that create new revenue streams, enhance commerce capabilities, and deliver customer-centric solutions. This role combines business leadership and product ownership

The position requires strong collaboration with technology teams and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, plan Agile sprints, and ensure successful execution. The associate director will also assess operational impacts across multiple functions, including Business Unit
, Technology Teams,
Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance (AR/AP), Legal, and Compliance
, ensuring alignment with LG’s digital transformation goals.
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute strategies for new revenue generation and commerce capability enhancement.
- Identify emerging opportunities aligned with LG’s digital transformation and customer experience objectives.
- Develop business cases, ROI models, and KPIs to evaluate and prioritize initiatives.
Project & Program Intake
- Lead the initial intake process for new projects and programs, assessing feasibility, business impact, and resource requirements.
- Facilitate cross-functional reviews to ensure clarity on scope, objectives, and timelines.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle
, from conception and requirements gathering through development, testing, launch, and post-launch optimization. - Serve as the Product Owner
, defining product-level requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer impact.
Technology Engagement
- Collaborate with technology teams to plan and manage Agile sprints
, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. - Work closely with UX, engineering, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, intuitive, and revenue-focused solutions.
Cross-Functional Requirements Gathering
- Engage with all relevant business units—including Business Unit Leaders
, Key Stakeholders
, Customer Service, Supply Chain Management, Finance (AR & AP), Legal, and Compliance
—to capture requirements and assess operational impacts. - Ensure solutions meet regulatory, financial, and operational standards while improving efficiency and customer experience.
Customer-Centric Innovation
- Translate customer lifestyle needs into digital experiences and monetization models
. - Drive personalization and data-driven improvements to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for seamless experiences across all touchpoints.
- Communicate vision, progress, and performance metrics to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: 8+ years in digital commerce, product management, or business development roles.
Proven success in launching revenue-generating digital initiatives and managing complex programs.
Skills:
- Solid understanding of e-commerce ecosystems, digital experience platforms, and Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in product lifecycle management and sprint planning.
- Ability to manage complex cross-functional requirements and stakeholder alignment.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
