The LG Digital Product team is looking for an entrepreneurial and creative senior user experience and design manager to define the ecommerce user experience for , through the discovery, shop, buy and ownership phases of the customer journey. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, executives, and other designers, leading the experience/design vision and project deliverables from rough sketches to working prototypes.
A successful candidate will be able to explore and translate complex interactions into simple, engaging solutions and be able to communicate those solutions verbally as well as through sketches, user flows, wireframes, hi-fi mocks and functional prototypes. Candidates must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment without supervision.
- Lead the establishment of a data-guided user experience vision for LG’s digital products, and help translate that into actionable optimizations as well as input into programs and projects.
- Lead the overarching UX process and workflow, and work closely with a cross-functional teams to build and ship solutions
- Guide the UX/design team, leveraging that vision & process to deliver optimized, easy-to-use user interfaces and user experiences
- Produce high-quality creative solutions to complex problems based on research and goals
- Create clear user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for user interfaces
- Work at both a detailed design level and a strategic level to influence the product roadmap
- Research customers, competitors, and products
- Design for accessibility standards
- Design content that is optimized for task completion
- Work closely with business, marketing and ecommerce teams to maximize customer success on
- Advise stakeholders on effective UX strategies and best practices
- 12+ years of UX design experience
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end user experience processes and workflows, including user journeys, wire framing, prototyping
- Exceptional use of design artifacts to effectively build alignment, communicate ideas, and deliver an experience
- Strong understanding of interaction patterns, accessibility, and best practices for user interface design
- The ability to articulate your design process, design decisions, and coach others on product design thinking
- Experience with digital media, eCommerce, social, and other major application types and their UX patterns.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Working knowledge of UX design principles, task analysis, information architecture
