- 5+ years managing and maintaining system configurations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes
- 5+ years’ experience in tracking and coordinating Hardware, Software versions, Software Licenses, Documentation, Maintenance for USCG or Navy systems and other combat management systems
- 5+ years’ experience using a configuration Management tool. They are currently using CMPro, but experience with JIRA or other similar technologies is acceptable.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support Combat Systems and the Sea Commander platform. This role is responsible for managing hardware, software, firmware, and documentation configurations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and system integrity across the product line.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and track hardware, software versions, licenses, maintenance records, and documentation
- Maintain configuration baselines and site-specific configuration records in databases
- Document and track system changes to ensure compliance with CM standards
- Create and maintain configuration management SOPs
- Support engineering change processes and perform quality assurance on engineering changes and material lists
- Coordinate with engineering and program teams on hardware/software releases and updates
- Collect and report CM metrics, risks, and process health data
- Support process improvements across HW/SW/FW configuration management
- Read and update engineering drawings and hardware documentation
- Work both independently and with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments, including travel as needed Requirements:

- Active DoD Secret clearance
- 5+ years of hands-on C4

ISR experience across at least three areas: systems requirements, operational requirements, test & evaluation, or training
- 5+ years of defense acquisition and/or sustainment configuration management experience
- Strong hands-on CM background with engineering documentation
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Strong organization and task prioritization skills
