This is a full-time, on-site role located in Allendale, NJ, for an Information Technology Help Desk Technician. The technician is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving IT issues related to hardware, software, and networks. Day-to-day tasks include addressing help desk tickets, assisting with desktop computer setup and maintenance, supporting printers and other peripherals, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems.
The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide timely support to both business and residential clients.
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Help Desk Support
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Familiarity with Desktop Computers and related software
- Knowledge of Printer Support and peripherals
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in an on-site team setting
- Relevant certifications or training in IT support and networking are a plus
- Experience using remote diagnostic tools and ticketing systems
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
